Accelerate DVD to iPod Converter Suite is a basic DVD converter coupled with a video converter. The software did a good job of converting DVD movies, however there are several steps to go through before the actual conversion can begin. The main difference between this software and other converters we rated higher is that Accelerate is not very user friendly. The end result is good, it's just that you have to know a bit about what your doing to get there. After having used the Accelerate DVD to iPod Converter Suite (or being familiar with similar software) it's really no problem to operate - it's just a bit of a learning curve at the beginning.

As far as conversion speed, Accelerate DVD to iPod Converter Suite ended up in the upper half of our results; converting a 109 minute DVD movie in a very respectable 47 minutes. If you want to try it out, you can download a free trial.
