E-Zsoft DVD to iPod Converter compared less favorably than many of it's competitors. In part because the program converts DVD movies into a large number of separate files, leaving the user to figure out which file contains the actual movie. we also had some minor audio skipping on one file. E-Zsoft DVD to iPod Converter appears to be a fairly basic program; you may want to check out some of the other programs before you commit to this one.

The screenshot below shows what appears when the program is started.

First, adjust the picture quality via a drop down box
labeled Conversion Profile.

 Then browse to select a destination for the converted file
(e.g. iTunes or Desktop) via the drop down box labeled Output folder.

 

After you've double clicked the Convert Now button, double click the Video_TS folder that contains your DVD movie. Then a list of files appears: all are pre-selected by default.

 

Click the Convert Now button again,
and the conversion process begins.

 

The E-Zsoft DVD to iPod converter worked fine as far as time to convert was concerned. However we didn't like the fact that the program converted each part of the DVD movie to a separate file,
leaving no clue as to which file contains the actual movie.
We also had some audio skipping on one of the files.
Other than that, the program worked fine.
