Jesterware DVD to iPod has a nice interface and comes with a good assortment of adjustments. We also like the fact that the program converts PAL as well as NTSC video, something we don't often see. The program's help section (some of it online) is well laid out and easy to understand. The program doesn't have a preview window.

* this review was done on September 16, 2006 - our first test of Jesterware's DVD to iPod Converter program (prior version) resulted in computer crashes when one clicked on the DVD title rather than choosing the Video_TS folder (as outlined in the help section). We didn't encounter that problem this time around.
