Below we provide an example of a first-time user converting a
full-length DVD movie using PQ DVD to iPod Video Converter Suite.

We inserted a DVD movie into our DVD drive and
started the program;
the main screen appeared

We clicked the Open button and a drop down box appeared seeking clarification as to which file format was to be converted,
we chose Open DVD.

A smaller window appeared on the left side of the program showing the Directory of our computer. We double clicked on the title of the movie in the DVD (E) drive: Dawn of the Dead.

We then double clicked on the VIDEO_TS folder which contained
the movie files and clicked OK.

The DVD movie began to play in the program's preview window,
then a pop-up appeared asking where we wanted the file to go upon completion, we chose "iPod Video" folder on your Desktop.

We left all of the settings in their default mode:
picture quality = good and audio quality = CD quality
and then clicked the Record it button.

65 minutes later the program had completed converting the 109 minute movie... about middle of the pack as far as conversion speed goes. The converted movie was in MP4 format and played back perfectly.
