We made the video to show how to use 1Click DVD to iPod (it's easy). Below is the dialogue from the video converted to text.

I’ve tested and reviewed close to 30 iPod converters, the best one I found so far is 1Click DVDtoiPod Converter.

I downloaded and installed 1Click DVDtoiPod as well as DVD43, which is a small, free program that works together with 1Click DVDtoiPod to convert all types of DVD movies.

I’ve started DVD 43, allowing it to run in the background, while I convert my movie.

I open 1Click DVDtoiPod Converter and it automatically searches my DVD drive looking for any movies.

In this case, it detects a DVD with four episodes of Family Guy.

I click the Start button to begin the conversion.

Here it shows which episode is being converted, and how far along it is in the conversion process.

Here is the Status Bar Indicator, which shows how far along the total conversion is.

I found that 1Click DVDtoiPod takes about 25 to 30 minutes to convert a 90 minute DVD movie; it’s the fastest converter I’ve tested.

Most programs would convert all four episodes to one file, meaning a lot of fast-forwarding and rewinding on my iPod to find the beginning of each episode.

One of the nice features of 1Click DVDtoiPod is that it automatically converts each episode to its own movie file.

Moving ahead a bit, you can see that the DVD movie is about half converted, and that it’s presently converting the third of four episodes.

Moving ahead again, we see the program is just finishing the conversion of the last episode, so far it’s taken about 24 minutes.

I’ve had no problem working on my computer while 1Click DVDtoiPod is converting, the program requires very little of a computer’s resources.

Soon a small dialogue box will open indicating that the program has finished converting the DVD.

After clicking OK, the program automatically opens up the folder containing the converted movie episodes.

Each movie episode has now been converted to MPEG-4, which is the video format that works best on iPods.

1Click DVDtoiPod has never failed me; so far, each conversion has, had an excellent picture and audio quality.

Other converters I’ve used have been hit and miss; some have converted perfectly, others had poor audio, and some had frames that skipped, and a lot of them had trouble converting new movies.

While there is no audio in this demonstration, rest assured, 1Click DVDtoiPod does an excellent job of audio conversion.

Every DVD movie is different, but a 4GB Nano can easily store four full-length DVD movies.

Next, I’ll need to open my iTunes program, that way I’ll be able to transfer the converted movies from my hard drive into the iTunes Movie Section.

You can see I don’t have any movies in the iTunes Movie Section, but I’ll switch over to Music here, and you’ll be able to see there’s a lot of music. But for this demonstration I’ve left the Movie's Section empty.

So what we’ll do is I’ll just take the four movies that I’ve converted and Drag and Drop them into the Movies Section of iTunes, and really that’s it. All I do now is have to hook up my iPod, sync it with iTunes and watch my movies.
